Another Etsy Trade shoot this week and with the weather being how it was today (38 degrees C) I figured these intricately made beach themed accessories would be great to feature. Catherine stepped in at the last minute when a shoot fell through with another model and she was amazing! We shot at Point Pleasant park on one of the sunniest days of September.

Model Holly for Atlantic Art Couture

In some kind of madness, I decided that coming into Halifax as well as trying to get ready to leave the country and see all the friends and family there that I would do a whole bunch of photo shoots for Etsy trades. The results of these shoots will be shared over the next couple of weeks starting with this shoot with Holly who is 'Miss Truro' and is in the running for 'Miss Nova Scotia'. The jewellery was supplied by Etsy store Atlantic Art Couture and I loved being able to use the Halifax skyline as a backdrop in some of the shots. Don't go chasing waterfalls..

Crystal and Brian had asked me to shoot their wedding at some waterfalls this August but when I was already booked for that date, I suggested that we do a trash the dress at the waterfalls in the days after the wedding, luckily they were up for it and so on a lovely summer day we headed out there and I think we've captured some beautiful images for them to keep. Dress weighing 100 pounds all full of water and all!
