Don't go chasing waterfalls..

Crystal and Brian had asked me to shoot their wedding at some waterfalls this August but when I was already booked for that date, I suggested that we do a trash the dress at the waterfalls in the days after the wedding, luckily they were up for it and so on a lovely summer day we headed out there and I think we've captured some beautiful images for them to keep. Dress weighing 100 pounds all full of water and all!

I would love to do a Rock the Dress session at Sombersby Falls so if anyone on the Central Coast is interested please let me know!

Rock the Prom dress

I had put out the call that I wanted a Trash the Dress for my portfolio and Devin answered saying that she didn't have a wedding dress, but a couple of prom dresses. I thought it was a great idea because really it's the same kind of idea, we wear the dress once then it sits getting crushed in the wardrobe for years not having anymore life put back into it. So that is what we did, took her prom dresses for a spin, I'd love to do more and I'm thinking that the beach back on the Central Coast of New South Wales would make for some great rock the prom dress photography!

Trash the Dress

I have always liked the idea of Trash the dress and always wanted to try it with someone willing. The great thing about these shoots is how fun they are, different to the wedding day in that you're not really limited by time and you can get as down and dirty as you like. Anything from just having kind of a Bridal shoot with some more sexy kind of moves to well, this. For Sara we wanted lots of colour so we decided to do some in downtown London at the courthouse- a very popular place for getting wedding photos done, then to the park.
