To take a break from all of my travel's from last summer I thought I'd show you what I've been up to more recently. As the winter is starting to ease I'm starting to get more interest in doing more shoots on location in and around London. When I was first asking Amanda about if there was anything that she had in mind for the shoot she said she was interested in Victoria park which is awesome because not only is it local, but also because when she told me that her and her fiance would be bringing along some skates for the outdoor ice rink that they have there I knew that there would definitely be a romantic couple waiting for me that Saturday morning.
One of the things I love best about working as a photographer is hearing the stories that people bring, how they met, what they do together, silly in-jokes and what their hopes are. Along with hearing the stories, making stories is also what I like best, like the story that I'll be able to take home to Australia with me of shooting a cute young couple skating hand in hand on an outdoor ice rink in London.
