Awesome Mondays part 29

Just a quick one today as I'm working hard on getting the best of 2013 blogs wrapped up to post this week! I'm running so behind but at least it will be just in time for the London Winter Bridal Show I will be at this weekend Sat 18th/Sun 19th at the London Convention centre- win tickets on my Facebook Page!

The following shots were taken at The Alzheimer Outreach centre, with Hair by Mallory and Makeup by Michelle

We chatted about family and how important it is to take pride in your appearance. This lovely lady also told me that she really likes going to the Alzheimer Outreach centre.

When asked about wisdom, this lovely lady told me that you have to work with what you've got. I think she meant appearance-wise but I think very true in other circumstances also!

Port Stanley Tall Ships Wedding Photography

As soon as I heard about Kim and Rod's wedding, I knew I really wanted to be a part of their day. Even though the rain threatened on the day, I was so excited to be able to photograph their beach ceremony and we were even treated to a re-enactment during their photo session!

Ceremony: Little Beach
Cupcakes: Razzle Dazzle
Makeup: Arbonne

Awesome Mondays Part 28

I can't believe it is a year since I applied for the Awesome London grant which made all of this happen! If you have an idea that you think would benefit the community, or that would just be really cool to do in London then I urge you to apply!

The following shots were taken at The Alzheimer Outreach centre, with Hair by Mallory and Makeup by Michelle

Gary and I chatted about family and he seemed to be very proud of his 4 grandchildren. With such a caring and happy smile, he was extremely easy to photograph!

Helmut wasn't a big talker but I think that one of the great things about this project has been being able to see how some people shy away from the camera, whereas others eyes light up, Helmut was one of the latter.

When I asked Joe what kind of advice he could give someone like me he told me to just keep clicking, so I'll do just that!

The London Club wedding photography London Ontario

Mallory and Chris' wedding will forever be remembered by me where the bride unbelievably kept it together through the biggest drama I've ever seen on the morning of a wedding. Her bridesmaids and family were amazing and it was a lovely day at the London Club and I loved doing their shoot in the urban areas of downtown. There are 2 examples in this blog post of why it is so beneficial to have a second shooter- about half way down this post- with getting the two different angles for the processional and recessional. My wonderful second shooter for this wedding was Arthur.

Here's a lovely testimonial from the mother of the bride;

Thank You so much Erin for doing my Daughter Mallory's wedding. You are truly a professional, helping us all were you did'nt have to. You did up dresses, helped put on shoes, necklaces and you were there for all of us. You went above and beyond on my daughters wedding day and it would not have been the same without you. Best wishes in your future Erin, you are truly an amazing woman.
