Promotional photography for Fantasy Faces

When I heard that Fantasy Faces were looking for someone to take photos for them of some body painting I knew it was something I had been wanting to get in my portfolio so I was only too happy to do the shoot for them. When I found out that I would also be taking photos of some Disney Princesses that can be hired for kids birthday parties etc I was even happier!
It was a challenge, with having to work inside entirely using flash as it was storming outside but I think under the circumstances we came up with some great images of both the face and body painting as well as the Disney Princesses. All the girls were lovely and I'm still in awe of Inesa's body painting skills!

Aday (in the sunshine)

I somehow came across the aday project and luckily the weather was so beautiful so I definitely made the most of May 15th!

Checked out some Hanson video's and drooled over the new merchandise

Left the boyfriend at home to deal with the Diablo frenzy

$6 double Margaritas!

Gorgeous walk through our old hood

This is pretty typical of me, finding random things on the ground.

Not a threatening cloud in the sky!

Walk down by the waterfront

Dandelions are everywhere!

Love this little stumble of a trail to my friends place

Again with finding the random stuff on the ground, this time on the bus!

Mothers day matching Polaroids

I started this series back in September 2009 and it still continues, this is what I'm saving my very last rolls of real Polaroid film for. Standing in each of my parents footsteps when they were my age in various places in Europe and the UK

Candy Stripes

During my time at home I was invited to a lot of events held by Event Cinemas Tuggerah and when they mentioned they were getting new candy striped old style uniforms I was on board to do a shoot of some of the young beautiful people they have working there. As you can see it was a lot of fun and got crazier as we went.

 Mum's will be Mum's!

Had to throw this one in of me and my bestie!

Mismatched and Kitschy

"Jogger girl", thats how one group of people from back home know me, because when we went to a Justin Timberlake concert years ago I was wearing a nice silver top, black shorts and white joggers (runners). My reasoning behind it was because I knew the others would be dressed nicely and we were getting a limo to the concert so I didn't want to be there in a tshirt and jeans but I also knew how much your feet get jumped on at concerts when it's general admission. So I'm pretty mismatched, and if you know me at all you know how much I value kitsch.
When I found Halifax local Molly's etsy shop I instantly knew I HAD to do something with these little wonders. I teamed up with model Jocelyn and headed downtown to some of my favourite shops that were lovely enough to let us take a few photos. If you're interested in any of the jewellery contact me and I can put you in touch with Molly.
