Cabot Trail

A few weeks ago I did a detail blog about the cabin we stayed in when we went to Cape Breton just over a month ago now. Now I thought it was time to blog the big stuff. The amazing views and landscapes that 'one of the best drives you need to do before you die' has to offer. I shot these on a T2i with my 10-22mm wide angle and 17-85mm. I just bought a new camera, the 5D mark III with 24-105mm and I can't wait to take it out tomorrow and see the tall ships!

Jewellery shoot at Mhome

Shot at Mhome, a great interior design store in downtown Halifax, I did my latest jewellery product shoot. The beautiful Courtney modelled for the talented Cindy of Divapixie and I had fun using some of their unique products in the close ups!

Whitney Houston inspired shoot

Last week I showed you my recent River Phoenix/90's inspired shoot. This week is the beautiful Catherine (you may remember her from when I was in Halifax last and did this shoot) in a Whitney Houston/80's inspired shoot. First wearing a very Whitney-esque dress I picked up at a vintage store downtown we channeled the young Whitney that we all remember and love. We headed to the gorgeous Sweet Hereafter to make use of their gorgeous wallpaper as a backdrop and have fun with mirrors and chairs. I can't wait to get back there and enjoy a Cheesecake!
