London Ontario Event Photographer

Around a month ago I had a bit of bad news about a paid summer long photography job that I had been working my year around. I put a post on Kijiji asking if there were any photographers still without help for the wedding season but with it being right at the beginning of summer, and wedding season, it seemed everyone already had someone. Luckily enough, someone organizing their parents 50th anniversary saw the add and even though it wasn't what I had advertised for, they thought they would give me a go and I was really glad they did! As I've said a hundred times before I love love, and 50 year old love is grand. I think everything happens for a reason and not working with that photographer has opened up a whole heap more opportunities for me and I'm sure that all my hard work now will pay off in the future.

Andrew and Melissa's Engagement

One lovely sunny Saturday I met up with Andrew and Melissa, who are set to marry towards the end of August and I will have the pleasure of being their photographer which I am very happy about because they are really relaxed in front of the camera and happily obliged with anything I asked for them to do. The light was perfect, the Thames picturesque and I am really happy with how these all came out.

Senior Session Saturdays

So I've been doing so many shoots lately that I feel I will have a hard time catching up with posting them all. I decided to see how people might like to sleep in on their day off and have something to wake up to from me. It's been so long since I had a Saturday off that I can't remember what it feels like but I bet it would be nice!
Here is something else nice- Sarah approached me a while back about doing a session to give the photos to her parents because she wasn't happy with the photos they had hanging, how many of us can agree with that! With my portraits I always try to make them as personal as possible, so when I asked what kinds of movies she was into we decided that we wouldn't do anything inspired by her favorite genre- horror, as we didn't think the parents would like to have anything gory hanging up on the walls. So instead we picked a lovely sunny morning and went out into the park, explored and tried to bring an element or romance into the photos, as both her and I are self proclaimed hopeless romantics. Here are some of what we came up with.

Fun at the park with the Boys

What is the present that keeps on giving for a lifetime? Photographs! My motto that I totally believe in (so much so it is tattooed on my side) is take a lifetimes worth. Capture memories that the parents are always going to smile and remember the time they could lift their kid with one arm and captured for the kids to look back on and have documented a time in their life that they might not remember. What better present for fathers day than a photo of his boys!
